Lithuania confirms delivery of F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine

Lithuania has delivered F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis, said on X, according to Report.

"Another impossible thing turned out to be quite possible," Landsbergis wrote in his post.

Prior to Lithuania's announcement, it was reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had already received six F-16 fighter jets from the Netherlands.

On the evening of July 31, Mykhailo Podolyak, an advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, stated that the Ukrainian authorities do not intend to officially confirm the receipt of F-16 fighter jets from Western allies.

The Daily Telegraph, a prominent British newspaper, previously reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had already deployed F-16s as part of their air defense system.
