France will continue to supply Ukraine with Aster air defense missiles for the SAMP/T system, as well as Scalp cruise missiles, French Defense Minister Sebastien Lecornu said, Report informs referring to foreign media.
“We will continue to supply a certain number of Aster missiles for the SAMP/T system, which we supplied to Ukraine together with Italian friends. We will continue to supply long-range weapons, including Scalp missiles. What’s new is the supply of Mirage 2000-5 aircraft and, obviously, training pilots and mechanics to fly them to give Ukraine air superiority,” he noted.
He added that France will also continue training the Ukrainian military.
“Ukraine needs from 15 to 20 ground forces. Objectively, this is a lot, we will continue to train them,” he said.
