Lebanon to increase military presence at Israeli border to 10,000 troops

The Lebanese leadership plans to increase the number of military personnel in the south of the country near the Israeli border to 10,000 troops, Defense Minister Maurice Slim told Al Jazeera TV channel.

"We will increase the number of Lebanese army personnel in the south to 10,000," he said.
