Latvian prime minister says 'iron curtain' to be created between Russia and Baltic states

Latvian Prime Minister Evika Silina said an 'iron curtain' will be created between Russia and Baltic states, Report informs via media.

Speaking at an event in Washington, she admitted that Latvia is facing difficulties in weaning off dependence on Russian oil and gas.

The Russian Foreign Ministry recently banned the entry to 347 citizens of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. The stop list also includes Prime Minister of Estonia Kaja Kallas and Prime Minister of Latvia Evika Silina.
