Latvia to limit airspace on Belarus border for military needs

From October 16, Latvia will introduce restrictions on the use of airspace near the border with Belarus, which will remain in effect until the end of the year, Report informs via Delfi.

The decision is explained by the needs of the National Armed Forces of Latvia. During the specified period of time, military missions will be carried out on the border between the countries using military aircraft and UAVs.

Any civil aircraft are prohibited from using airspace without special permission, according to the information.
