Kremlin: Biden's phone call to Putin wouldn't put an end to war with Ukraine

A potential telephone call between US President Joe Biden and Russian leader Vladimir Putin would not contribute to ending the war between Russia and Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

According to the Russian bureau of Report, Peskov stated that "such a call could not put an end to it in any way," he said, commenting on the words of US presidential candidate Donald Trump, who accused Biden of not calling Putin once in the two years of the war.

Earlier, during debates with Democratic candidate Kamala Harris, Donald Trump once again declared that he is ready to settle the conflict between Russia and Ukraine "even before taking office as president." Trump also accused Biden of refusing to engage in contact with the Russian president.
