Knesset approves extension of state of emergency in Israel

The Knesset, Israel's parliament, has approved the government's proposal to extend the state of emergency in the country until the end of June.

According to Report, citing Israeli media, following a closed-door briefing on the ongoing war with Iran, members of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee unanimously voted to approve the state of emergency, which had been declared by Defense Minister Israel Katz and extended by the cabinet on Sunday.
