Kemi Seba talks on detrimental impact of French colonial policy on Africa

French colonial policy had a detrimental effect on the African continent, well-known activist and one of the main critics of French neocolonialism, Kemi Seba, said during a briefing for representatives of Azerbaijani media, Report informs.

The activist noted that, being a French citizen, he had witnessed discriminatory attitudes towards black people since childhood.

"I was a witness and victim of neocolonial policy. I was born in France and witnessed how badly they treat Africans. Working as a journalist in Africa, I became convinced that France's neocolonial policy negatively affects the continent. Despite rich mineral resources, the African population cannot benefit from them, while the French oligarchy reaps the fruits of these riches," the activist noted.
