The situation in the country has stabilized and is under control, Report mentions, referring to the press service of the National Security Committee of Kazakhstan.
"Terrorist threat centers have been neutralized. The cities of Almaty, Kyzylorda, Taldykorgan, and Taraz have been liberated from terrorists," the statement reads.
The ministry said that protecting critical strategic facilities and places where weapons are stored is also provided.
According to the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, the damage caused by the riots in Kazakhstan exceeded $215 million.
1,319 affected businesses and 1,488 facilities were identified in nine regions of the country. Of them, 1,245 are commercial facilities, 25 are engaged in catering, 37 are engaged in logistics, and two are media outlets.
