Japan studying need to evacuate citizens from Ukraine

The Japanese government is looking into the need for evacuating its own citizens, including embassy staff, from the territory of Ukraine, Report informs, citing TASS.

"We are considering the approach of the US administration and other states to this issue," the Kyodo's source in the Japanese Foreign Ministry said.

Earlier, the US State Department ordered the families of employees of the US embassy in Kyiv to leave Ukraine, and also allowed some of the staff of the diplomatic mission to do so voluntarily.
