Japan announces new sanctions against Russia, prime minister's visit to Ukraine

Prime Minister of Japan Fumio Kishida plans to visit Ukraine, Report informs via Japanese media.

Kishida voiced hope that he will soon visit Ukraine, as he is the only G7 leader who has not been to Kyiv since the outbreak of full-fledged hostilities.

"February 24 is the day that we will never forget," he said.

Moreover, the Japanese PM noted that his country will soon present new variants of sanctions to be discussing during the G7 online conference. He also noted that China can provide military aid to Moscow.

"I consider it important to send a clear message to the international community in close cooperation with G7 and other concerned countries," Kishida said.
