Israeli travelers warned of terror threats in Ramadan

Israel’s National Security Council (NSC) on Wednesday issued a travel warning for citizens during the month-long Muslim holiday of Ramadan, which begins on Sunday evening, Report informs citing JNS.

Citing an increase in incitement to commit terrorist attacks, the NSC called on travelers to “take responsibility” and act in accordance with travel advisories.

The travel warning comes as Israel’s security establishment braces for a possible escalation of violence during the holiday in light of the country’s ongoing war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
