The losses of the Israel Defense Forces since the escalation of the conflict in the Gaza Strip have reached 574 people.

Report informs via TASS that, according to the latest data, another Israeli soldier was killed in the morning in battles with the Palestinian radical movement Hamas in the south of the Gaza Strip. In total, since the start of the ground operation in the enclave, the IDF has lost 236 people killed.

The situation in the Middle East sharply deteriorated after the infiltration of Hamas militants from the Gaza Strip into Israel on October 7, 2023, accompanied by the taking of hostages. Israel announced a complete blockade of Gaza and began retaliating against the enclave and certain areas of Lebanon and Syria. Clashes also occur in the West Bank.
