Israeli Air Force strikes Hamas militants in abandoned Gaza school

The Israeli Air Force has conducted a targeted strike against armed militants from the Palestinian Hamas movement in a former school building in the northern Gaza Strip, Report informs via the Israeli military press service.

According to the statement, "The terrorists were operating from a complex that previously housed the 'Kafr Qasem' school. This is yet another example of the systematic abuse of civilian infrastructure by the terrorist organization Hamas, in violation of international law."

The Israeli military emphasized that precautions were taken before the strike to minimize the risk of harm to uninvolved civilians. They further stressed that the Israeli army will continue to take action against terrorist organizations that use schools and civilian institutions as cover.
