Workers killed in strike on Farda Motors factory in Iran

Workers were killed today when Iran’s Farda Motors factory in Borujerd (Lorestan Province) came under a rocket attack by Israel, causing significant damage to its production facilities and injuring a number of employees, Report informs citing NoorNews.

"A large fire broke out immediately after the rocket strike, spreading across various parts of the industrial complex and raging for hours. The force of the explosions and subsequent fire makes it difficult to initially assess the full extent of the damage to production lines, components, and finished vehicles," the report said.

Preliminary information indicates that several factory workers have been killed, while others sustained burns and injuries. Rescue teams are currently evacuating the injured and transporting them to nearby hospitals.

Farda Motors is a major enterprise in Iran’s private sector automotive industry and plays a significant role in employment and domestic production.
