Israel informs UN that 1967 agreement recognizing UNRWA is void

The Israeli Foreign Ministry has officially informed the UN that Israel has ended the 1967 agreement recognizing the Palestinian refugee agency UNRWA, after the Knesset passed legislation to severely limit the operations of the agency in Israel and in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, Report informs via The Times of Israel.

“UNRWA, the organizations whose employees took part in the October 7 massacre and many of whose workers are Hamas operatives, is part of the problem in Gaza, not part of the solution,” Foreign Minister Israel Katz says in a statement. “The UN was provided with countless pieces of evidence regarding Hamas operatives who work in UNRWA, and nothing was done.”
