The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have conducted a series of precision airstrikes targeting central and southern parts of the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of more than ten Hamas terrorists, according to Report, which cites the Israeli news portal Walla.
"In recent hours, the IDF launched aerial attacks on multiple targets in buildings that Hamas had converted into headquarters in central and southern Gaza. Over 10 terrorists were killed in the strikes," the portal reported.
Tensions in the Middle East have escalated dramatically since October 7, 2023, when Hamas militants infiltrated Israeli territory from Gaza, killing residents of border settlements and taking hostages. Israel responded by launching an operation in Gaza aimed at dismantling Hamas' military and political infrastructure and freeing all captives, which continues to this day.
