Israel Defense Force: Over 100 rockets launched from Lebanon towards Israel

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) reported that more than 100 rockets were fired from Lebanon towards Israel on the morning of September 22.

Report informs that, according to an official statement released by the IDF on Telegram, sirens sounded across northern Israel between 06:24 and 06:32, and again from 06:52 to 07:00, alerting residents of the incoming rocket attack.

The IDF confirmed that approximately 85 projectiles penetrated Israeli territory from Lebanon, with some being intercepted by Israel's advanced missile defense systems. An additional 20 rockets were detected entering Israeli airspace over the Jezreel Valley region.

Rocket impacts and debris were reported in the areas of Kiryat Bialik, Tzur Shalom, and Moreshet. Israel's firefighting services are currently working to extinguish fires ignited by the rocket strikes in the affected regions.
