Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has summoned the US and British ambassadors in Baghdad regarding the airstrikes on Iraqi military facilities that killed six people.
Six people had died as a result of US airstrikes at several sites in Iraq, including the Karbala airport, which was under construction.
The Iraqi Armed Forces condemned the US Air Force attack, noting that it "violates the principles of cooperation," and called the US allegations of retaliation following the Taji base attack as a weak excuse.
The Iraqi foreign minister convened an emergency meeting with the participation of deputies and advisers of the ministry to study measures regarding the US attack and ordered to summon the US and UK ambassadors to Iraq, the ministry's spokesperson Ahmad Sahhaf said.
More than 15 small missiles fell on the territory of the Taji base on the evening of March 11. The self-made launcher was on a truck a few kilometers from the Taji station. The attack killed three coalition servicemen and injured 12 others.
