Iraqi FM arrives in Washington

An Iraqi delegation led by Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein has arrived in Washington to discuss a number of economic issues, Foreign Ministry Official Spokesperson Ahmed Al-Sahaf said, Report informs referring to TASS.

Hussein expects to meet with his US counterpart Antony Blinken, as well as hold talks as part of a delegation with the American side to support Iraq’s monetary policy. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, representatives of the banking structure arrived in Washington together with the minister to discuss issues of financial support in connection with the current situation on the foreign exchange market in Iraq.

Hussein will also discuss bilateral relations and ways to improve them with senior officials in Washington, Al-Sahaf said.
