Iranian opposition journalist Puria Zeraati, who was stabbed in London last week by unknown assailants, has returned to the airwaves.
Report informs via TASS that after the assassination attempt, Zeraati and his family were taken under British police protection. His place of residence was changed.
According to the journalist, he, his relatives and other employees of the Iran International TV channel, declared by the Iranian authorities as a terrorist organization, have repeatedly received death threats.
According to The Sunday Times, Iran's Fars agency previously published photographs of Zeraati and his colleagues with the caption "Wanted, dead or alive." According to the journalist, supporters of the Iranian authorities published his address, photographs of him and his wife on social networks. He admits that the attack could have been a warning from Tehran.
