The current President of Moldova Maia Sandu will officially begin her second presidential term after the inauguration, which is scheduled for December 24 at the Palace of the Republic, presidential advisor Adrian Balutel told TV 8 channel, Report informs via TASS.
According to the Central Election Commission, following the second round of elections on November 3, Sandu received 55.33% of the votes, defeating opposition candidate Alexandr Stoianoglo.
The country's president is elected for a four-year term.
