IDF says 250 Hezbollah fighters eliminated in 4-day operation

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have announced the elimination of 250 armed militants belonging to the Hezbollah movement during a four-day ground operation in southern Lebanon.

Report informs via TASS that among those neutralized were 21 high-ranking commanders.

The latest offensive comes in the wake of the killing of Hezbollah's Secretary-General, Hassan Nasrallah, in an Israeli airstrike on Beirut on September 27. On the night of October 1, the Israeli army announced the start of the ground operation in the border districts in southern Lebanon.
