Houthis strike Saudi Aramco facility in Najran

Yemeni Houthi rebels from the Ansar Allah movement said they had carried out a drone strike on a facility belonging to Saudi oil and gas company Saudi Aramco in the city of Najran, according to the Houthi-controlled Yemeni news agency SABA, cited by Report.

"The Yemeni armed forces successfully attacked a Saudi Aramco facility in Najran using a drone," the agency quoted a Houthi military source as saying.

According to the source, the operation was a response to a violation of Yemen"s sovereignty by Saudi military aircraft, which entered the airspace over the northeastern part of the border province of Saada.

On August 13, the Houthis claimed to have carried out a drone strike involving two UAVs against a Saudi Aramco refinery in the city of Jizan.
