Head of Assembly of Peoples of Ukraine calls on Europe to support Ukraine

The head of the Assembly of Peoples of Ukraine took part in the international conference of the European Union of Ethnic Peoples (FUEN) in Flensburg (Germany).

As the chairman of the United Congress of Azerbaijanis of Ukraine, Rovshan Tagiyev, told Report, the conference, which was attended by members of the European Parliament, politicians, and heads of various institutions of European countries, raised the problems facing ethnic minorities.

In his speech, the head of the Assembly of Peoples of Ukraine, Rovshan Tagiyev, drew attention to Russia's aggression against Ukraine and said that the peoples of Europe are currently suffering from Russia's armed aggression and, unfortunately, the European Union is still not fully aware of this.

"Today, Russian tanks bombing cities, trying to invade multinational Ukraine, are holding an inscription reading `to Berlin’. What does it mean?! If you do not want more than 10 million refugees to flow from Ukraine to Europe in a short time, then it is necessary to provide humanitarian and military assistance to Ukraine.

“Today Ukraine is fighting not only for its own future, but for the future of all of Europe. But, unfortunately, Europe does not provide sufficient support. Russia is bombing Ukraine today in a way that the Nazis did not bomb. We would like to request that the gravity of the situation be addressed as soon as possible."

Then the head of the assembly sent his proposals in writing to the European Union of Ethnic Peoples.
