Haber Global: Over 12,000 homeless protest in France, government ignores calls

In the lead-up to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, more than 12,000 French citizens, evicted from their slums, staged a protest, Report informs via Haber Global.

According to the prepared plot, the protesters set up tents at locations featuring the Olympic rings. They called on President Emmanuel Macron’s government to provide them with housing, stating their desire for dignified living conditions.

The plot highlighted that the French government did not respond to their demands. Instead, the police intervened to dismantle the tents, while the protesters watched helplessly.
