At least five people were killed in the night from Sunday to Monday as a result of an explosion in a grocery store in southern France, Radio France Bleu reports quoting the local prosecutor's office.
According to Report, four more people received injuries of varying severity, the report added. One of the victims jumped from the second floor, trying to escape from the fire. He was taken to the hospital with severe injuries. Four people are also listed as missing.
Another 25 people were evacuated. The fire affected at least 11 apartments.
