Germany: Train derailment leaves 1 dead, several injured

One person was killed and several others were injured in a train crash in the German city of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Report informs, citing the country's Bild newspaper.

According to the newspaper, a rescue operation is underway, and doctors from neighbouring Austria are also involved.

Several wagons overturned as a result of the incident. The cause of the accident is still unknown.
