Germany launches Ukraine recovery platform

The German authorities have launched a new platform that will unite Germans who want to take part in the restoration of Ukraine, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development said, according to Report.

According to the Minister for Economic Cooperation and Development Svenja Schulze, the restoration of Ukraine will be "a most difficult task" that cannot be solved only by governments.

At the same time, many residents of Germany are ready to help. "The new Ukraine recovery platform will help with this. We want to use it to bring together active citizens, companies and communities in Germany and Ukraine," she said.

Schulze added that 25 million euros will be allocated to support partnerships between German and Ukrainian communities, clinics and water companies. The platform will become "a point of coordination for everyone who wants to take part in the recovery process."
