Germany invests in air superiority: 20 more Eurofighters on their way

Germany is going to buy 20 more Eurofighters, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said at the ILA air show, Report informs referring to TASS.

“We will purchase 20 Eurofighters in addition to the 38 aircraft already ordered,” he said.

The Eurofighter, a multi-role combat aircraft developed by a consortium of European countries, has been a key component of Germany's air defense since its introduction in 2003. With a current fleet of 138 Eurofighters, Germany is one of the largest operators of the aircraft worldwide.
