Georgia plans to produce its first drone shortly

Georgia, in cooperation with Poland, is planning to produce its first drone in a few months, Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili said on Tuesday.

"Together with a Polish company, we are launching the production of drones. It will start in a few months. Our country will be able to produce thousands of drones," Garibashvili said.

He added that the country is cooperating with the Israeli company Rafael to strengthen air defense. Cooperation envisages modernization of existing systems and purchase of new ones.
