Employees of 3 oil refineries of Total and Exxon have staged a strike in a number of regions of France, followed by a shortage of fuel at gas stations in the country, Report informs referring to Euronews.
The unions demand a 10% increase in wages and do not intend to stop the strike until their demands are met.
The fuel shortage situation affected 20% of gas stations in the country.
France's Ecological Transition Minister Christophe Bechu said the government had already allocated fuel from strategic stockpiles, which would be delivered to the regions over the weekend.
