France 24 criticized in Turkiye for footage about PKK

The French TV channel France 24 made scandalous footage in which part of the territory of Turkiye is designated as Kurdistan. Besides, it was stated in the program that the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) was allegedly recognized as a terrorist only by Ankara, Report informs via Milliyet newspaper.

"The fact that the PKK is on the terrorist organizations list of the European Union was not mentioned. The bloody terrorist organization PKK was openly supported," the paper noted.

Milliyet points out that the 12-minute footage aired as the reaction against the PKK in France intensified as "supporters of the terrorist organization turned the streets of Paris into a war zone."

Earlier, the official representative of the President of Turkiye, Ibrahim Kalin, said that the French authorities support the PKK, banned in his country, in Syria.
