Four US college professors injured in China knife attack

In a shocking incident, four professors from Cornell College in Iowa were wounded in a knife attack while visiting a park in China's Jilin Province.

According to Report, which cites AP, the educators were participating in a collaborative program between Cornell College and Beihua University when the assault occurred.

The professors were taking a leisurely stroll through a local park when an assailant armed with a knife suddenly attacked them. The severity of their injuries and the attacker's motives remain undisclosed at this time.

The US State Department has acknowledged the incident and is closely monitoring the situation.

Ashley Hinson, a member of the US House of Representatives from Iowa, took to social media to address the matter. She assured that her team is in close contact with Cornell College and will make every effort to ensure the safe return of these Iowa residents to their homeland.
