Forces in Panjshir say Taliban conducting ethnic cleansing

Representatives of the radical Taliban movement have expelled thousands of people from the Panjshir province in northern Afghanistan and are also carrying out ethnic cleansing, the representative of the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan Ali Maisam Nazary tweeted, Report informs referring to foreign media.

“The Taliban have expelled thousands of people from Panjshir. They are committing ethnic cleansing, and the world is still watching and ignoring this situation. We urge the International Community to stop these war crimes,” Nazary tweeted.

In August, amid the withdrawal of the US military contingent from the country, the Taliban seized all major cities and border crossings in the country. However, the Panjshir province remains impregnable. The Taliban managed to capture only the main road.
