Flood damage in Slovenia reaches 4.7B euros

The damage from the largest flood in the modern history of Slovenia has amounted to 4.7 billion euros, Prime Minister of the Republic Robert Golob said, Report informs referring to TASS.

According to the prime minister's statement, up to 7 billion euros will be allocated to eliminate the consequences of the flood in the next five years.

Earlier, the Slovenian authorities decided to turn to the European Union and NATO for help in eliminating the consequences of a natural disaster.
