Five charged as France thwarts Olympic terror plot

French authorities have successfully thwarted three planned terror attacks that were set to take place during the ongoing Olympic Games, according to the national prosecutor's office.

The action by French intelligence agencies has led to the arrest of all individuals involved in the terror plot, with five people now facing charges.
