The first FA-50 light combat aircraft manufactured by South Korea have arrived in Poland, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of Poland Mariusz Blaszczak wrote on his Twitter page, Report informs.
“The first two FA-50 aircraft for the Polish Army are already in Poland! The light combat aircraft ordered in South Korea, replacing the post-Soviet equipment, will strengthen the potential of the Air Force,” he tweeted.
Earlier, the defense minister announced the start of deliveries of South Korean aircraft to the country. In total, Warsaw intends to purchase 48 FA-50 planes from Seoul.
