The Finnish Parliament will consider a civil initiative to ban visas for Russians after 50,000 people sign it, Report informs via Yle TV.
As part of the initiative, it is proposed to cancel previously issued visas. An exception is proposed to be made only "for humanitarian reasons".
The initiative collected a large number of signatures in mid-September, when a large-scale public and political discussion began in Finland on issuing visas to citizens of the Russian Federation.
