Famous Russian actor dies of coronavirus

The star of What a mess, My Fair Nanny, and Children for Rent, Valeriy Garkalin, has died at the age of 67, Report informs, citing Russian media.

The Russian actor was hospitalized with coronavirus in October, his condition assessed as stable severe.

Valeriy was born in Moscow on April 11, 1954. In 1988, he graduated from the faculty of Estrada and mass shows.

He was also a professor at the chair of the art of Estrada at the Russian University of Theater Arts.

In 2008, he was honored with the title of the 'People's Artist of the Russian Federation.'
