Explosion in Germany's north injures several

An explosion occurred in the port area of the Timmendorfer-Strand municipality (Schleswig-Holstein federal state) in northern Germany, Report informs via NDR.

The explosion was reportedly caused by a gas cylinder explosion.

About 10 people were injured.

Police, firefighters, and rescue service personnel have been dispatched to the site.
