European Investment Bank allocates €900 million for Spain's flood recovery

The European Investment Bank (EIB) has announced a substantial €900 million aid package to support the flood-affected regions of Spain.

Report informs via Euronews that this initiative aims to expedite the restoration of critical infrastructure and provide much-needed assistance to affected families, businesses, and government agencies.

EIB's response mirrors the swift action taken after the devastating floods that hit Central Europe in September.

The EIB has expressed its willingness to work closely with Spanish authorities at the national, regional, and local levels, should they require further assistance.

The Spanish government has also stepped up, recently announcing a €10.6 billion relief package for those affected by the floods.
