European Commission to help EU countries to prepare for refugees from Ukraine

The European Commission is ready to support Member States in preparing to accept refugees as the situation evolves in Ukraine, EU Commissioner for Home Affairs Ylva Johansson said on Twitter.

"The EU Commission stands ready to support Member States in reception preparedness as situation evolves in Ukraine. I thank Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia and Hungary for their readiness and willingness to provide immediate protection," she tweeted.
