European Commission to adopt EU's first military strategy in its first 100 days

The new European Commission (EC) will adopt the European Union's first military-industrial strategy in the first 100 days of its work, EC President Ursula von der Leyen said while presenting the program at the European Parliament session, where participants will need to approve new commissioners.

"We will adopt the EU White Paper on Defense in the first 100 days of our work," she said.

According to her, Lithuanian Andrius Kubilius will be responsible for the militarization of the community in the new EC composition.
