European Commission chief slams Russia's actions as 'greatest threat to global stability'

Russia's behavior in Ukraine and abroad is the greatest threat to global stability, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said, Report informs, citing CNN.

Russia "is today the most direct threat to the world order with a barbaric war against Ukraine and its worrying pact with China and their call for new, and very much arbitrary, international relations," von der Leyen told reporters after talks with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and European Council President Charles Michel in Tokyo.

European Council President Charles Michel said "those responsible for war crimes must be and will be brought to justice."
