EU, Western Balkans agree to lower data roaming charges

The countries of the Western Balkans have signed an agreement to reduce roaming charges at the summit of the European Union, Report informs.

β€œAn important step in lowering data roaming charges between the EU and the Western Balkans. At the EU WB Summit, telecom operators agree to lower data roaming charges between both regions, starting next year. This is good for businesses, and for bringing people closer together,” the European Commission tweeted.

The agreement will come into force from the beginning of next year.
