EU proposes €18B support package for Ukraine

EU offers a support package of 18 billion euros to Ukraine for 2023, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen said, Report informs.

“The EU continues to stand in solidarity with Ukraine. We propose an €18 billion support package for 2023,” Ursula von der Leyen tweeted.

“Funding in regular tranches to help recovery in the short-term and strengthen institutions. Preparing the ground for a reconstruction of Ukraine progressing on the EU path.”
