EU expands sanctions list against Russia

The EU has expanded sanctions against Russia, including two individuals and four organizations on the list, Report informs referring to foreign media.

The largest Russian railway container operator TransContainer and its CEO Mikhail Kontserev are also included in the sanctions list. The EU claims that TransContainer could transport equipment and ammunition in the interests of the Russian Armed Forces, thereby contributing to the destabilization of the situation in Ukraine.

Sanctions were introduced against Titul LLC and its head Dmitry Beloglazov due to the fact that they contributed to circumventing European sanctions.

In addition, two more companies were included in the list for circumventing sanctions: JSC Iliadis and MCAO Rasperia Trading Limited.
