The European Union is discussing personal sanctions against several Georgian politicians, EU's top diplomat Kaja Kallas said prior to the meeting of EU foreign ministers in Brussels.
According to Kallas, sanctions and restrictions on the visa-free regime are being discussed but there is no unanimous opinion on it yet.
Earlier, European sources stated that new sanctions against Georgia would be discussed today, December 16. Visa restrictions are expected to be introduced, but this issue will not affect ordinary citizens.
