BRICS can play a signigicant role in building a new, fair world order amidst an unprecedented array of challenges, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the expanded outreach / BRICS+ session in Kazan, Report's correspondent informs from Kazan.
"The BRICS platform holds special importance in today's geopolitical landscape, where the world faces unparalleled threats such as security risks and climate change," Erdogan stated.
The Turkish leader reiterated his stance on the need for substantial reforms in the current financial system, which was established in the aftermath of World War II.
"We must seek joint solutions to the existing problems. BRICS has the potential to make a meaningful contribution to the construction of a new, just world order," he said.
